When we started looking for a house, we had many specific needs regarding both the house and the neighbourhood. We were also shopping from a distance (Toronto) and had an infant and a very active toddler accompanying us on most house visits. Put all that together and it is miraculous that Jane stuck with us for the 8 months it took to find our "dream home"! But, she did and she was always encouraging and patient. She remained supportive when we pointed out things that we didn't like about a prospective house and she NEVER pushed us to buy a house that was not appropriate. In fact, she persevered even when we were thinking it was time to compromise. She refused to let us accept a house that did not meet our needs and encouraged us to keep looking. She provided solid advice on pricing and acted very strategically when it came time to make an offer. Above all, though, we are most impressed with Jane's honesty. Jane was instrumental in helping us with a huge transition in our lives. Moving from east of Toronto to the KW area was a very emotional time for us and looking for a new home was an anxious endeavour. My husband had already started work in KW, while I was back in Courtice trying to sell our previous home. On my trips here Jane always had ideal homes lined up, she listened to us and knew exactly what we were looking for. Jane showed genuine care right through the entire buying process and continues to be what I would consider a friend.
